Long Distance Walkers Association - Inverness Explorer

The Long Distance Walkers Association (LDWA) will lead the ‘Inverness Explorer’ taster walk. As the group name suggests, this will be a longer walk, with a duration of 5-6 hours. This year’s walk will be led by Graham Smith of LDWA, who is also a Volunteer Walk Leader for Highland Health Walks.

“Very good LDWA taster walk today from Inverness railway station, led by Jan Adamson, as part of Inverness Walking & Wheeling Festival.

Jan's route took us out of the city alongside the Caledonian Canal, which we left to ascend the hillside - giving us fine views - before heading back to Inverness along the Great Glen Way.” Review from wawfest 2023
