John o’Groats Trail (JOGT)

The John O’Groats Trail is a 147 mile coastal walking route from Inverness to John o’Groats. The trail traverses shorelines, cliff tops, back lanes and footpaths. The route is a work in progress with some remote, pathless and challenging terrain whilst other sections are already popular walks.

The majority of the work on the trail is undertaken by volunteers and they’re always happy to have some extra helpers. Why not experience a walk along part of the trail along with some simple clearing tasks to help maintain the path.
